Rightship Training Program

The Rightship (RISQ V3.2) Dry Inspection program aims to evaluate the quality and operational readiness of vessels by ensuring compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, industry recommendations, and best practices.

Rigthship V3.2

Applicable for bulk carriers, general cargo, containers and roll-on/roll-off ships, the Rightship Inspection Ship Questionnaire (RISQ) provides the world’s most comprehensive and consolidated inspection reference standard for dry bulk shipping.
While assisting a ship manager to prepare a vessel for inspection, RISQ also supports inspectors to conduct inspections in a systematic and standardised manner, by applying a unified methodology, guiding them to more accurately report on the quality of a vessel and its crew.
Implementation of RISQ is statistically proven to improve Port State Inspection outcomes and reduce incidents.

Rightship Webtraining

  • Steps to resolve issues efficiently and achieve higher inspection scores.

RISQ 3.2 Training & Guidance Details

What does the RISQ 3.2 training cover?

Our program provides a deep dive into all 17 chapters of the RightShip Inspection Ship Questionnaire. We focus on the shift from 'Prescriptive' to 'Risk-Based' inspections and how to document compliance effectively.

Who should attend this course?

The course is designed for Designated Persons Ashore (DPA), Technical Superintendents, Masters, and Senior Officers who are responsible for maintaining a vessel's RightShip Safety Score.

Is the training conducted on-board?

Yes. We offer both in-person classroom sessions and on-board practical guidance. On-board training is highly recommended as it allows us to bridge the gap between SMS and actual equipment condition.

Will a certificate be issued?

Successful participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance from PAMS, documenting their completion of the 2-day RISQ 3.2 technical guidance program.

Ready to Proceed?

Request a survey, inspection, audit, certification, or technical consultancy service. Describe your vessel, offshore asset, or project requirements and our technical team will respond within 4 business hours.
