Role Overview
Conduct independent marine surveys, inspections, damage investigations, condition assessments, draft surveys, and pre-purchase inspections while preparing professional technical reports for shipowners, insurers, charterers, and other maritime stakeholders.
Maritime Auditor

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ISM, ISPS, MLC audits
  • Evaluate compliance

Role Overview
Perform independent ISM, ISPS, and MLC audits, assess regulatory compliance, review documentation, and provide technical recommendations to improve operational performance and compliance.

Technical Superintendent
Provide technical oversight for vessel operations, dry-docking, maintenance planning, repairs, machinery assessments, and technical due diligence.
Radio Surveyor – GMDSS Certification
Carry out GMDSS radio surveys, testing, inspections, and certification in accordance with applicable flag administration requirements and recognized classification society procedures.
FPSO Technical Consultant
Support FPSO engineering, construction, commissioning, inspections, maintenance planning, and offshore technical consultancy throughout project lifecycles.
Single Point Mooring (SPM) Technical Consultant
Perform technical inspections, engineering assessments, integrity reviews, maintenance planning, and consultancy services for Single Point Mooring (SPM) and offshore terminal systems.
Marine Electrical Engineer
Conduct inspections and technical evaluations of marine electrical systems, power generation, switchboards, automation, navigation equipment, and associated onboard installations.
Naval Architect
Provide specialist technical support for vessel structural assessments, stability evaluations, modifications, conversion projects, and engineering reviews.
Cargo & Condition Surveyor

Bunker Quantity Surveyor
Perform independent bunker quantity surveys, fuel measurements, verification of transferred quantities, sampling, and reporting in accordance with accepted international surveying practices.

Does PAMS recruit seafarers for onboard employment?

No. PAMS Pacific Admiralty Maritime Services is an independent marine technical consultancy. We do not recruit Masters, Officers, Ratings, or other onboard crew. All opportunities relate to shore-based technical consultancy, surveying, engineering, auditing, and project support.

What does the recruitment process involve?

Can surveyors work as independent contractors?
