Can the inspection identify PSC-related deficiencies?
The inspection can identify observable conditions and documentation issues that may be relevant to vessel compliance and Port State Control readiness. It does not replace an official Port State Control inspection.
Does the inspection replace class or statutory surveys?
No. An independent LSA and FFE inspection is a technical condition and readiness assessment and does not replace classification surveys, statutory inspections, approved servicing or specialist examinations where these are required.
